Monthly Update

๐ŸŽ‰ 1 Year๐ŸŽ‰

Within 3 days it will complete 1 year since I graduated and flew straightforward to London into what God had called me, as He is the light that guide my steps. I do have some updates from last month but I would like to start this by thanking you who supports this me and the mission.

Before graduation, in one of the last classes, it was stated that at least 80% of seminary and Bible students that jump in right into full time ministry give up in the first years. That was scary, within one year I can see some o the reasons why, Iโ€™ve also talked to some of them and actually got the feedback that without a strong a faithful community supporting you is impossible. I am very glad that you pray for me and support me financially, you have no idea on how precious that is.

Church

Last week I was able to share at our local church, we are going to a new phase as a church, God has been showing us that He will make us a Prayer family, just this last Sunday we spent over half of our meeting praying for each other and for our borough (neighborhood).

What would happen if we have a church that prays according to what He wants? How do we know what He wants? Through prayer.

– Tales ๐Ÿ™‚

If God answered every prayer that you prayed last week, how different would your life and the life of the people around you be?

Tales ๐Ÿ™‚

The best part of that meeting was the elders of the church sharing that they had dreams and visions that essentially said the same thing, all of us had received this word from God, basing ourselves on the prophets and the church in Acts.

Also, an amazing phenomenon is happening in London where the youth is having encounters with Jesus, just in our community 2 young men had come to the church because Jesus met them in their room. Please pray for the youth.

Street Evangelism

Weโ€™ve been doing street evangelism and last Thursday I could pray for one young man to accept Jesus right there on the street. It was the first time that I did that kind of prayer with an unknown person. (there is a video of it but I donโ€™t have it right now)

Football

We had some set backs on schedule to accommodate the football (soccer) into my week but in the coming week we will have a meeting to decide once for all the soccer with 2 groups, the refugees and the other one for whoever may come.

Iโ€™m very excited with the work that we are doing teaching English for the refugees where the majority of them are Muslim, it is very challenging because we do not know for how long they will stay with us, since the government is the one who places them here, they might move to a new house at any day.

Personal Life

It has been a good journey, everyday that passes I am more in love with this life, I hope and pray that I can meet you guys in August, please pray for the Visa situation to go well on August 6th and for the passport to arrive in less then 14 days so I may be able to travel.

I am good and happy, God knows what He wants and I am staying in the UK until my task here is done, I also hope to become closer to Him to understand the seasons and strongly encourage you to do the same, our Father in heaven is never far from a contrite heart.

THANK YOU
