The who and the why

My name is Tales I have been enrolled as a student at Kansas Christian College. The Lord has impacted me greatly as I have changed my life from a future engineer to a full-time minister. As graduation arrives, every senior asks themselves, “what now?” And God answered: England.

The land that experienced a few of the greatest revivals in history now suffers from the lack of Christians. As I write this letter to you, churches are closing down so Pubs may emerge. This is due to the need for Christians to live Christ outside of the church building they meet on Sunday. The more I heard about their situation, the more God asked me to pray for them, and recently the Lord told me to go there.

The vision is to grow and make disciples who make disciples. The idea, then, is to learn more about who God is through relationships rather than big gatherings. We long for eye-to-eye small groups, where meetings take place in our houses. Back in the US, I started two groups at my house—one for Africans, where they feel more comfortable with their own language, and the other for Americans. With three and twelve, respectively, the Africans and Americans have their own pace and worldview, but both seek the same God and will be able to share easily with those who are near them.

I will be a missionary in June, therefore, I  have the responsibility and privilege of building my own financial partnership team. I invite you to stand with us in prayer and financial partnership. Your partnership would enable me to give my full energy and strength to the call of God in my life.
