The month of July and the beginning of August were combined the biggest ups and downs that I have experienced so far in the mission field, bear with me and I would like to start by saying that I am glad to have people praying and supporting me in this mission that we are building together!

Starting with the opportunity the leadership gave me to help and contribute to teaching the whole team, the class went surprisingly well, it was supposed to be just one time but they invited me to teach others 3 under the same subject which is the importance of Jesus’ title Son of Man to the gospel and story of God.
The room was filled with every team member of the London team and had an acceptance of 100%, which led to a great discussion after it, helping us to dive into the Word together.
Prayer

The whole team took a week off every activity to gather together to pray and intercede for the city of London, we understand that when we pray for London we indirectly pray for the world, due to the influence London has and also with the possibility of having at least 1 person of every 196 countries living here.
We spent 5 days praying in 4 central places, for it was great to experience that, we stopped with a group of 30-40 people all of us praying together on the streets. We had powerful encounters with God during worship, honestly, I would never expect to see all of us on our knees, crying, pleading to God to see His works here on earth. Personally, I strong believe that we came back from it way more united having the prayer of Jesus on John 17 closer to its fulfillment.
Evangelism

After the week of prayer, we were encouraged by the sending of the 72 in Luke 10 and we went each to our locations and created opportunities to preach the gospel. Each team had their ways to do it according to the community they were in.
In the first pic, you can see Luca, who was able to learn more about evangelism and what the scriptures had to say about it. Discipleship being done in its full form, helping him to go through this new phase has been my greatest joy. I am afraid to say that he spoke more about Jesus this week than I did!
My team went to the streets offering water on hot days, playing football, and with some events with our neighbors at our mission house. The immediate result of that was one man accepting the gospel with his whole family, we met him on a Thursday evening touring with his family from Taiwan, he was the perfect example of a person of peace (Luke 10:6) we had an amazing conversation which led to him visiting us on the next day at our cafe and eventually our Sunday service.

Church Life
Back to our neighborhood congregation, we are moving to a new building and changing the name of the church, starting in a new place with our strength renewed. John 17 really has been the theme for us in this new phase having in mind that through our love and unity people will believe in Christ.
In our weekly bible study, we are going through the book of John and we reached the chapter 17, which led to my greatest take away since we started
“I’ve learn from you the Christianity is a relationship rather than a bunch of rules” – One of the members
Helping people to come closer to Jesus in a personal level is the greatest joy for us when we preach the gospel, that could be a life being transformed which will lead to many others.
The Visa situation
Unfortunately I won’t be able to be with you in the Kansas City this year, but let’s try to meet for a few minutes at least through a video call, I really want to see you!
That was the biggest down from the mission field so far, I really thought I would be able to be there, but God is in control of everything we should trust in Him only.

I am really sorry to hear that your visa was denied, but I am excited about your ministry success.
Thank you for the encouraging report of ministry and how God is working with the team and in your communities.
It is true that God is in control even when situations are not the way we planned or envision. He sees ahead of us and sees what we cannot see.
God cintimue to bless you and be with you.
Tales, thanks for the good report. It’s good to hear from you and learn how God is using you to make a difference!
