Recently, with all the changes on my timetable, it was hard to find a time to write an update but here we are!
“Work”
With two months in the mission field, the team was stablished and the activities too. Since I am new we were figuring out the best projects to join so we could maximize our potentials together. As it is I am helping with English classes by leading some groups and responsible for sports activities in some other locations, and whenever we have an open time in our schedule we go help serve in the cafe.
Church
We view the church in three aspects: Church is family, Church is marriage, and Church is work. We should live as family and be committed as in a marriage all led by love and working on goals to improve all of it. With all that in mind me and this organization came to a common ground on how to pursue God together sharing the same vision.
Those prayer moments that comes after a long time chatting and we feel led to just sing love songs to God is so powerful, we want nothing more than Jesus’ revelation.
Discipleship
The organization is encouraging us to start bible studies among us, in our own houses, in our own context, to learn more about God. With also the intentionality of bringing the unrecorded into a family environment. I have been able to start one in my location and also to pour into two people on 1-on-1 conversations. One of them is very curious to learn more about God and accepted to join one of our Sunday services, they fell in love with it, God is so GOOD that I lack words.
Major Update
I know that I should be in the beginning but if you made this far you deserve to know this! Me and the leadership got together to define the next steps of this partnership and we have opted to get me the visa to stay here for 2 more years! I am very excited
Prayer Needs:
Join me in prayer for God to make His plan clearer and for us to never lose our focus, which is to glorify Him, with Him and only for Him. Also that my trip to Brazil could give comfort to my family for what’s coming next!
